We had a night last night, rocking and rolling. Not too terribly bad, maybe 4.5 meters, just enough to make for a great sleeping night – and sleep I did! While Ed got up at the normal time and hit the gym and breakfast, I slept in until well past 7 – almost 7:30 by the time I got up and into the shower. Lovely. Then it was onto another normal morning at sea: Coffee chat with Housekeeping superstars, Port talk with Ian (which was a huge disappointment as all he basically did was play the pre-recorded port videos we can see on the TV – really weird), then I absconded to the Lido to grab our table while Ed stayed to watch Ian’s whale presentation – which apparently still had technical difficulties because he was up to the Lido at 11:15! Oh well – we’ve seen it, not missing anything.
After lunch we went to the Shorter Workouts, Maximum Benefits lecture with Luke, nothing new – all about HIIT, etc., then stayed for the Ask the Captain, which was good as always. Ed stayed on for the Klondike Gold Rush with Manolo, while I went back to the cabin to blog. Day successful.
Evening is the norm – gym, drinks, dinner then the Orange Party in the World Stage. Well, sort of the Orange Party. We weren’t going to go at all, but then decided to just go see Jose’s Movie trivia where he acts out all these movies scenes, then we all guess the movie. Oh my God! He – and the whole activity staff – was hysterical. We laughed so hard – and made for a fabulous end to our evening – no need to stay for Officer vs. Guest Trivia or the “main event” party. The party was fun to watch the first time around, but….the balcony is calling….
