5/8 – Last sea day

Today is another yawn of a sea day.  Nothing much at all on the schedule.  So, we do our normal morning coffee and gym routine – varying only for my mani-pedi this morning (which was an exorbitant price – but covered by the non-refundable credit that we have to use. Still….).  Ed went to the coffee chat with the comedian who was equally funny in the chat – hated to miss that but, fingernails and toenails were calling.

The rest of the day is filled with hanging out in the cabin, drinking our mimosas, blogging, walking on the inside decks – its cold, breezy and chilly, not even comfortable enough to sit on the balcony – watching some TV shows, more gym, then Pinnacle for dinner.  We splurge for the lobster tail (see aforementioned NRC), enjoy an excellent meal then back to the cabin for the night because 1) the show is StepOne dancers (which we’ve seen), and 2) the whole damn ship is sick, and we don’t need to sit in that theater with them.  (Seriously, we actually moved seats at the comedian’s show last night because the couple sitting 2 seats down from us were both hacking and sniffling.  Yikes!)

So, a lovely night in the cabin with a beautiful sunset, TV and bed.  On to Sardinia we go.
