Another beautiful – if not hot – day here off the coast of South America. We did our normal procedure: Coffee on the pool deck (it’s out earlier than anywhere else), break into the gym around 6:40 (today with our masks so that when sick, coughing, hacking man came in and moved to the treadmill right next to me we don’t catch his disease), breakfast and laundry! After sweating to death through the last week, our clothes definitely need a cleaning!
There is a St. Patrick’s day sing-a-long in the Den with fish and chips and green beer, but 45 minutes before it even starts, the place is filling up. They’ve got a small serving station at the end of the hallway near the shops, and well, it’s going to be a zoo. Who needs fish and chips? We go back to the cabin, I blog a bit, then hit Windows at noon for lunch as usual! Salad and BBQ chicken much better for us both.
At 2 we have Dr. Kenna again, today with “Is it hot in here or is it just me?” A discussion about menopause and her research into plant based transdermal therapy. Then to the Den for the cruise long scavenger hunt. This one is interesting, we need to collect 40 crew members’ signatures. Including a cadet and 1st and 3rd officers and the doctor. This should be interesting – we’ll be golden if they do the Expo……gives us something to do for 9 sea days though! More blogging, then the gym, then drinks, then dinner….you know the drill! Sea day complete. All is well somewhere in the Atlantic off the coast of Brazil.
