The normal morning ensues, but today we have a new lecturer, Dr. Dick Farkas who will talk about Africa and the digital revolution – a fascinating discussion. Then it is on to Chuck for a talk about The Gambia.
Next lunch, they have a turkey Reuben panini – which I had just this morning texted Chris about! I swear they are reading my texts! Afterward, I head to the cabin and blog while Ed goes to Dr. Jean’s lecture on seabirds of Western Africa.
A normal evening – Gym, dinner – no we are not going to the Thanksgiving buffet upstairs! We are opting for traditional main dining room dinner service. Of course I end up with semi-Thanksgiving food anyway, the ham – which is very good – and Ed has the prime rib. Then the production show Imagine, which is excellent. This cast is really very good. And of course finishing the evening out on the balcony.

Looking forward to Dakar tomorrow, which will be totally different and fascinating.
