The Bay of Biscay! Always makes for an interesting sail! And it does not disappoint this sailing. We’ve been rocking and rolling all night and it continues during the day. The motion gets better, then it gets worse. But besides the cabin closet door slamming open and closed in the early morning (washcloth shoved between the doors is the solution), it’s not been bad. Ed is fine with all the motion, and well, I have my pills!!

We essentially do nothing all day. Got up late mostly due to the time change, and partially due that damn closet door. Ed went to the gym, I took another pill! Met Ed for breakfast, at least I know better than to have an empty stomach, then showered, hung out, went to the buffet around 11:15ish to get a table for lunch. Holy cow! Massive zoo! Totally filled with people trying to eat breakfast! Ay yi yi. We absconded to O’Sheehans which was fine and uncrowded.
Then back to the cabin. I napped. Ed watched Something’s Gotta Give, we both hit the gym later and now deciding upon dinner. Buffet is seafood. Restaurant is so-so. If it’s a zoo in the buffet. Restaurant so-so it is!
And the buffet is not a zoo! Empty is more like it – so seafood it is! Lovely light fried Calamari. Excellent cold shrimp. Ed had mussels and chowder and hot shrimp with veggies. Perfect! We’re both happy campers.
Then onto to the production show, which ends up being a violinist because of the rough water, which is too much for the dancers. Oh well – we don’t need a show. We just head to Bliss for a drink, then up to the cabin for the evening. A quiet evening works for us.
