Today worked out much better than yesterday! To say the least. We had a great sleep in the very nice Hyatt place. And easy shuttle ride by ourselves to the airport. Breezed through security, hung out in the lounge then and an easy, fast flight to Charlotte.

Rental car pick up simple – although the car stinks – literally – someone has been smoking in here and it is gross – and barely cleaned. We have enough wipes, no worries, this car is sanitized, just stinky. We make sure the agent checking us out of the parking deck knows the car is stinky, and we’re off and on the road in no time. Home to our overgrown – but gorgeous- landscaping in a jiffy – and ready to unpack, get organized and start our summer in Asheville.

A quick stop at the new Whale Outpost from some excellent wine (No es Pituko – It’s not fancy!!!), traditional first night dinner at Rendezvous, then relaxing on the front porch for the rest of the evening, reminiscing about our excellent, fun-filled, whirlwind of a trip, ping-ponging around the world.

We’re home….until we’re not…when we hit the road and start all over again in September!
