4/21 – Kruger Park – Afternoon

Lunch break complete – we climb aboard our trusty vehicle and off we go – for more great animal adventures.

Another Cape buffalo – being shy behind the bushes….

A herd of elephants crossing the road….

And more impala than one could possibly count!  We got to the point where we were like – oh, impala! Eh, move on.  Seen enough of them.  So jaded….

And, just like that, we are crossing over the river with the hotel in view, our drive is over. Wow – nine hours went by like the speed of light. So fun, so amazing.

Back at the hotel, we wander around the property – find the amazing pool facing out over the river and bush.  People said a whole herd of elephants walked by earlier – probably the herd we saw crossing the road.  Then it is off to the gym and freshening up for our dinner in the Boma.

The Boma turns out to be a fenced in area between the pool and the main resort where they grill and serve another sumptuous buffet.  Problem is, we are so stuffed from all the food, we can barely make a dent in the offerings.  But no matter, it is nice to sit outside with our group and laugh and talk and relive the day.  Oh, and spot a Bush baby in the tree above us.  That capped off our evening perfectly!
