Oh, we so made the right decision!  It is nasty out there today – rain, cold, wind.  Lots of wind!  While we don’t relish another “sea day” with nothing to do, we are extremely happy we postponed the Florence/Pisa trip until Monday.  It can’t be any worse than this.  Well, ok, it can….but the forecast looks decidedly better and we’ll take the “hope” of clearer, drier skies.

So, today just sort of passes us by.  We get organized and pack for our move up to the Haven.  It’s an easy pack – literally throw everything in the suitcase, keep the clothes in the closet on hangers and voila! Ready.

Otherwise?  Boring sea day without many activities so we read, blog, hit the gym, go to dinner and, well, that’s about it!

Tomorrow, another boring sea day as it is turn over day in Civitavecchia and the only tour they are offering for B2B cruisers is a Rome “drive-by” tour. Essentially drive by the Coliseum and other sights, then walk past the Trevi fountain and Parthenon.  Won’t even be able to go to the Vatican because it is Sunday.  Oh, and the piece de resistance?  No time for a meal, they will have box lunches with half a tuna sandwich (yes, half) or tomato and cheese sandwich for vegetarians.  Um, no.  We’ve done all that and we aren’t sitting on a bus for 7 hours to re-do it with those regulations.  Thus – another day “at sea” for us!
